itHere in Henry County High school, an 11th grade English teacher named Mrs. Johnson is giving her students an opportunity to start up their own business. For the end of the year project she is dividing students into groups and having them create a business all by them selves. Later on Mrs. Johnson has contacted the “sharks” of Henry County to come into the school and watch the students present their business plan. If you’re not familiar on what Shark Tank is, it is a TV show that gives entrepreneurs get the chance to bring their dreams to reality by trying to convince any of the sharks to invest money in their idea. After a shark invest money into the contestants business he/she will receive additional help from a very experienced and successful shark! But you may question what this has to do with technology. Actually technology has a big role in this project. Mrs. Johnson has given her students access to the schools Chromebooks to do research for their business plans, etc. Students are also using Chromebooks to design their company’s logo and website.
