Here in the new future we could quite possibly have prosthetic arms while maintaining the sense of touch. In March of 2013, European engineers and scientists designed and built a prosthetic arm that would be able to connect to the remaining nerves in a person’s upper arm. This means that the hand has a sense of touch and is fully controllable. However, the arm currently requires a lot of processing power and still requires a connection to a laptop, because of this it is far from mass production and distribution.
